NARRATIVE:  Today was a killer. I guess I am trying to compensate for my ribs so I'm walking on a slant and now my back is killing me. Basically dragged my body the last 5 km. I walked the middle 5km with Annie which pushed me to walk faster.
I totally recognized a stopping place, but they definitely changed the route leading up to it.
So glad today's walk was relatively easy terrain.

Lots of up and downs. One major down before entering Lauzerte.  Glad it wasn't raining or slippery. Staying in one of my top gites - hope it lives up to my memory.  Entering Moncuq after leaving gite. The tower is the only remnant of the medieval fortress. Touching the butt brings good luck.
