NARRATIVE:  A fantastic day for walking... a little too much blacktop,  but you can't have everything.  Going to walk shorter distances for the next few days to allow my ribs more healing time. The pain level is probably about  1/2 of what it was.

Lots of up and downs. One major down before entering Lauzerte.  Glad it wasn't raining or slippery. Staying in one of my top gites - hope it lives up to my memory.  Entering Moncuq after leaving gite. The tower is the only remnant of the medieval fortress. Touching the butt brings good luck. Looking back at Moncuq Season is over Cute village Don't think I'd name my gite this. Not as fun as it looks. There were several sections like this. Sad sunflow...
