NARRATIVE:  Today was an easy day. Relatively flat with only a small section of black top and then again near the end.
I wasn't able to find a bed along the route so a man gave me a ride to a nearby town. Dinner was delicious.  The room is OK... just 5 beds, but cold. I've cranked up the radiator so hopefully by bedtime, it'll be toasty.

Lots of up and downs. One major down before entering Lauzerte.  Glad it wasn't raining or slippery. Staying in one of my top gites - hope it lives up to my memory.  Entering Moncuq after leaving gite. The tower is the only remnant of the medieval fortress. Touching the butt brings good luck.
