Lots of up and downs. One major down before entering Lauzerte.  Glad it wasn't raining or slippery. Staying in one of my top gites - hope it lives up to my memory.  Entering Moncuq after leaving gite. The tower is the only remnant of the medieval fortress. Touching the butt brings good luck. Looking back at Moncuq Season is over Cute village Don't think I'd name my gite this. Not as fun as it looks. There were several sections like this. Sad sunflow...

Many say the path after Conques is boring, but I love it. Easy walking, took a couple long breaks to not arrive too early.  Missed the turn about 1 1/2 kms from the end so I added an additional km. Ribs are feeling much better.  Seems like I'll be pretty much healed by the time I fly home. ...
